Brunswick Art + Design is a 20th century design gallery which offers furniture and art objects , with a predilection for French, Danish and Italian creations from the 1950s to 1970s .
Initially traveling, the gallery moved to 40 rue des Petits Carreaux in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris in September 2021. Laid out like an apartment to allow the future collector to plan ahead, it is structured around an eclectic but coherent set of rare and sometimes unique pieces.
After 6 years at Christie's in London as an expert in 20th century decorative arts and design, Xavier Brunswick founded Brunswick Art + Design in 2019.
Responsible for sales of prestigious collections and big names in Italian and Scandinavian design such as Gio Ponti, Carlo Mollino and Finn Juhl, Xavier specialized from the start of his career in furniture from the 1950s to 1970s.
With his experience, Xavier has developed a keen eye and a strong taste, which contribute to the quality of the selection he offers.
